Argan Oil Hair Mask And InstaNatural Youth Express Age-defying Moisturizer

Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Not too long ago, I turned my hair green. Yeah, I know right?!? And I've been trying to let it grow while trimming off the dead green damaged ends. I chose not to re-color it and do any damage to my hair. Instead, I'm just going through the process of trying to get it back natural and healthy - even if natural means some gray. Anyway, during this process, you can imagine how damaged the ends are. And I've tried various products to try to 'help' with the frizz along the way.

But I was given a chance to try Argan Oil Hair Mask

My first thought was - I love the smell! It smelled amazing. And the texture was thick (which is what I'm hoping for in a hair mask). Since it was so thick, I was curious how it would rinse out. After leaving it on 5 minutes, I found out that rinsing it out wasn't really a problem. The smell did linger. So it's a good thing that I liked the smell. It did leave my hair a little limp, but using less of the product would help with that. Also, focusing more on the ends would also also make the hair less limp. Overall, this is a great hair mask, and if you have dry damaged hair, it would be worth giving it a try.

I was also given the opportunity to try InstaNatural Youth Express Age-defying Moisturizer. I was a little nervous to try this product since I have sensitive skin.

The smell was pleasant. The consistency was nice. I was surprised that it was so creamy. It went on easy. It absorbed fast, and it didn't seem to leave a greasy feel behind. And I can already tell a difference in how my skin looks. So, I was also pleased with the InstaNatural Youth Express Age-defying Moisturizer.

Score - I just found two great products from InstaNatural that I will be adding to my beauty routine.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. These sound great! I love that the moisturizer doesn't cost a fortune because it seems like most of them do anymore.

Self Care Is Not Selfish It's Necessary

It's not selfish to take care of yourself. It's not selfish to take care of yourself. It's not selfish to take care of yourself. And I'll say it just one more time in case you didn't hear me. It's not selfish to take care of yourself. I have found through experience that when I'm not taking care of myself, not only do I suffer but my family suffers. So ditch the mom guilt and take the time that you need! I have a tendency to keep pushing my needs aside until I reach a breaking point. We've had a very busy fun summer so far. However, I've struggled to get some quality ' me ' time to decompress. I'll spare you the meltdown that ensued. But the reality check that followed prompted me to take action.

Running My Life

Wow, has it really been 2 years since my last post? I suppose that I allowed life to get in the way. For any faithful blog readers, I apologize. Although, I'm not sure how many people actually read blogs anymore. I think most people use other social media platforms.  (By the way, drop by and say hi on Insta. )  But for some reason, each year when I pay for my google domain, I can't seem to let it go. As silly as it sounds, this little space is mine. And lately I've been struggling with ownership and acceptance. And my domain renewal was a not so gentle reminder that I have a voice .  Seriously, you'd think by 48 that I'd have this figured out - nope - apparently not. However, I am wise enough to know that we have a choice to allow situations to harms us or make us stronger. I'm choosing to let this mid-life quandary make me stronger. And because of this, I'm setting goals, taking charge, and reexamining priorities.  Movin' on...

When The Planner In You Must Be Flexible

In case you haven’t figured this out by now, I’m a planner. I know - shocker right?!? :) So although I love substitute teaching, it’s making the planner in me anxious. And it’s been reeking havoc on my workouts. Basically the morning of or maybe the night before, I find out if I’m working. So my day ( that I thought I had planned ) can be turned upside down in an instant. But, truthfully, isn’t that really the same with everyone?
